A superb 99* from Luke Bennett enabled Datchworth to chase down the 168 runs required to win on The Green on Sunday.

The win sees them rocket to 43 points, with opponents Great Gaddesden stuck on 37. 3rd place Letchworth have 2 matches in hand, so could catch up and claim top spot.

Lewis Tyler earlier took 4 wickets as an under-strength Sunday side restricted the visitors to 168.

Dave Bartlett (33) and Bennett put on 152 for the first wicket, before Darren Croucher finished the run chase with 3 boundaries.
